If your synagogue chooses to disable all touchscreen functions during Shabbat, you can program the system to do it automatically.
Click the “Edit Appearance and Schedule” button on the main page. Then, using the “Functional Settings” on the right side of the page, set the start and end time of the “Shabbat Window”. Each week the screen will automatically lock during the hours that you set, and a small message in the bottom left corner will read “Touchscreen Functions Locked At This Time”.
Note that the “Shabbat Window” is not meant to reflect exact Shabbat times (which of course change every week). You may wish to program the hours broadly enough that they will encompass a wide range of Shabbats, saving you from having to reprogram new hours each week.
ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CLICK “SAVE CHANGES” BEFORE LEAVING THIS PAGE OR YOU WILL LOSE ANY DATA YOU ENTERED.
NEW SHABBAT LOCK PROGRAMMING WILL REGISTER ON THE TOUCHSCREEN THE FOLLOWING DAY. TO ACTIVATE YOUR SHABBAT LOCK CHANGES INSTANTLY, USE THE INVISIBLE BUTTON PROCEDURE.
